Problem definition:
– Customers complain about bubbles, creases or detachment of the film.
– These problems can be caused by environmental influences and require targeted measures.
Repair measures:
– Dismantling: Affected components, including windows and cladding, are removed. Adhesive residues (butyl) are removed using a hairdryer and special tools.
– Wrapping: The new film is applied professionally to ensure a wrinkle-free surface. Damage to one side requires the replacement of all films on the same side.
– Window installation: After wrapping, the windows are reinstalled, including the rubber buffers, which must be positioned precisely.
Materials and tools:
– Use of special tools (e.g. butyl cord, adhesive remover, applicator).
– Spare parts such as cover foils, rubber buffers and other accessories.
Billing and notes:
– Repair costs must not exceed the specified time and material costs.
– The process number (TPI) must be specified for warranty work.
– Customers must be informed that the design appearance can easily be changed by replacing the films.
