In some Grand California models (MJ2023), a faulty rubber-to-metal bearing was installed on the wishbone of the front axle. The bearing has a material deviation, which can cause the screw connection between the subframe and the control arm to loosen.
Affected owners will be actively informed by Volkswagen or the dealer if the vehicle is affected. The warehouse will be replaced free of charge until 30.06.2029 as part of the field measure. If the measure has already been carried out on the vehicle, this is recorded in the Volkswagen system.
