Service measure 23OM applies to vehicles in the Crafter / Grand California model series in which the fuel metering valve (N290) must be replaced due to component-related deviations. These deviations can lead to a fault display in the engine management system.
The affected vehicles must be checked for this field measure before any repairs are carried out. If the valve has already been replaced as part of previous repairs, no further work is necessary. Otherwise, the fuel metering valve must be replaced in accordance with the specifications.
Customers are informed of the service measure by telephone and the repair carried out must be noted in the digital service plan. Spare parts must be ordered as required and not reused or resold.
The measure is valid until 31.12.2029 and must be settled in accordance with the repair specifications.
