Pitch recommendation – Stadtmarina Brandenburg an der Havel

We are actually not team pitch or campsite, the “free standing” is our thing. But you know the suffering in Germany, it is not allowed. We have found a pearl of a pitch in Brandenburg an der Havel. The city marina is located directly at the harbor and offers accommodation not only for boats but also for campers and campers.

There are 30 pitches from different categories at your disposal, but do not panic, every pitch is great 🥳

Each site has its own supply and disposal, in addition to electricity, fresh and gray water supply is available to you at the sites. We have never had that on a pitch before.

Black water disposal takes place at a central location. Here, as in the entire square, the order and cleanliness is striking. Many of you will know it, some disposal stations just look to 🤮. Here you will find a prime example of how it can and should be.

Also the general equipment can be seen, there are washing machines, dryers, toilet and shower barrier-free, a fireplace and a kitchen. Attached to the reception there is a small store.

And should the gas supply ever run low, this can also be used to help.

The prices are perfectly within reason, especially when you consider what you get here on a pitch. We have copied the price list from the homepage of the city marina:

There is nothing, okay, almost nothing to complain about. We find the arrival times problematic and not really camper friendly. If you plan a weekend trip to Brandenburg, you have to arrive between 1 and 5 p.m., which is very annoying, especially considering that 5 p.m. is not possible at all for many people. In principle, it is possible to reserve a parking space, but this must also be taken by 5 p.m., otherwise the reservation is forfeited again. According to the notice board and homepage, daily arrival is supposed to be possible, but during our visit, the reception was staffed on weekends only by appointment. That is the only criticism we have here. We will come back with pleasure and for sure.

In conclusion, we did not receive any money or other perks for this post. This is our impression and nothing else 🙂

Update 02.04.2022

After a friendly feedback from the operators, arrival is possible not only until 17, but 21:30. Furthermore, reservations do not expire if they have been paid in advance.
