After massive problems with the faucet in the Grand California, Volkswagen has finally responded. So far, the model Keramik de Luxe from Reich has been installed.
Who has the well-known problem, continuous operation of the water pump due to a short circuit in the microswitch, now no longer gets the same faucet reinstalled, but the new model Twist from Reich. This has an encapsulated microswitch which is waterproof and thus the problem of the pump running continuously should no longer occur.
We doubt whether VW will replace the faucet without any problems. The entry in the knowledge base is still being updated.
