Gadget Day – Black Forest slipcovers for the Grand California

I just noticed that we haven’t had a Gadget Day in a while. That’s why it’s time for it again today.

Most of you will have a slipcover on your mattress in your bedroom at home to protect the mattress from, well how do you say it best, contamination from sweat and other bodily fluids. If the cover is dirty at some point, it simply goes into the washing machine and the beloved mattress is still absolutely fine and clean.

So why don’t you do it exactly the same way in your Grand California? Maybe because the standard slipcovers from the trade do not fit? The good thing, there is a solution. The company Black Forest offers custom-fit slipcovers for the original mattress of the Grand California. Both for the Grand California 600, rear bed and loft bed, and for the rear bed of the Grand California 680.

The covers have a permanently water-repellent fabric on the top, so, for example, no sweat gets on the mattress. On the underside is processed 3D mesh fabric with anti-slip effect. This also ensures particularly good air circulation, which has a climate-regulating effect. This can prevent moisture or heat buildup, for example. Of course, the covers can be washed in the washing machine at 60 degrees.

The workmanship is simply impeccable and the fit is perfect. Covering is quick and easy, only the seams need to be twitched to the right place. If you use the original mattresses in your Grand California, we can really recommend the covers from Black Forest. However, the manual work costs around 200 euros. If you want the complete set for the Grand California 600, front and rear bed, about 370 euros are due.
