The EcoflowPower stationsare not only popular among campers. It is not for nothing that we have always pointed out special offers and promotions from EcoFlow in the past.
Unfortunately, there is currently little encouraging news from EcoFlow. The UPS function must be disabled on some models. The reason given is the possibility of “electric shock” when the EcoFlow is operated in UPS mode.
Thus, a warning was issued by EcoFlow directly, as well as by the EU. In order to continue operating the affected models, it is mandatory to install the firmware update that disables the UPS function.

Unfortunately, EcoFlow does not yet proactively inform about this error in its support documents. However, upon request via email, the company offers a free protection socket as an alternative to disabling the function.
